You can reserve tickets via its website, just plan your time well or else you will not be admitted. You can take a bus up the hill, it will stop near the Mary's bridge - the bridge provides beautiful view of the castle. If you want to get away from the crowds, there is a trail further up. Be careful because there is no railing - if you slip, you will plunge into the gorge down below.
